Hire Rates
Daily Rates
Any 24 hour period Monday to Friday.
Weekend Rates
Collection on a Saturday at 1.00pm and
returned by 12 noon the following Monday.
Weekly Rates
Any period up to 7 days and any 7 day
period thereafter.
Collection / Delivery of Hire
We can arrange delivery of your hire
equipment or you can collect from our Bridgwater premises.
If delivery is required a charge will
be levied dependant on the size of the equipment and the
deliveryaddress.
We offer trained personnel to assist
in the setting up or operation of equipment.
How to order
Either by phone, fax or email.
We will require the following information:
1. Start Date of Hire.
2. Finish Date of Hire.
3. Equipment to be Hired.
4. If you are collecting or you require
delivery.
5. Address of where the equipment is
to be used.
Hire Conditions
The full conditions of hire are printed
on the next page and we advise you to read these prior
to signing the Hire Contract.
PLEASE REMEMBER
1. Two forms of identification will be
required when collecting goods, one off these must be
a passport.
We will hold these during the Hire period.
2. Payment must be made when collecting
goods. Payment is to be made by Cash, Cheque or Credit
Card.
Insurance
You are responsible for the insurance
of the goods on Hire.
You will be liable for any damage or
theft.
1 Definitions
1.1 The 'customer' is the person, company
or firm hiring the equipment. This includes any representatives
or successors.
1.2 The 'equipment' shall mean any goods,
leads or parts thereof contained in the contract.
1.3 The 'contract' shall mean the signed
agreement between the customer & GPLAS
2 Hire Period
2.1 The hiring period commences at 1.00pm
on the date specified on the contract and continues until
12.00 noon on the last day of the hiring period.
3 Charges
3.1 Hire Charges Commence from the date
stated on the contract.
3.2 Unless previously agreed, equipment
must be returned by 12.00 noon on the date specified on
the contract in a clean serviceable condition.
3.3 All cables must be returned coiled
& taped otherwise a charge of £1 per cable will
be made.
3.4 Additional Charges at the full daily
rate accrue in the event of any equipment not returned
by the contracted date and time.
3.5 The customer is responsible for the
care and safe return of equipment, and will reimburse
GPLAS all costs incurred to rectify
any damaged equipment. The customer will also pay the
full daily rate until rectification.
4 Insurance and Liability
4.1 The customer agrees to pay GPLAS the
full retail cost (without deduction for wear and tear)
of any equipmentlost, stolen or
damaged beyond economic repair.
4.2 The customer shall insure the goods
against the above liability.
4.3 In the case of equipment lost, stolen
or damaged, the customer agrees to pay the full daily
hire rate until the equipment is
replaced.
4.4 The customer will at all times indemnify
GPLAS against any loss, damage or destruction of any property
or in respect of the personal injury or death of anybody
in any way caused by or relating to the equipment or it's
use.
4.5 GPLAS shall not be liable for any
financial losses, damage or destruction of any property
nor in respect of personal injury
or death of a customer, his employees, contractors or
other persons in any way caused by or relating
to the equipment to it's use howsoever caused.
4.6 GPLAS shall ensure that all equipment
is checked and is of sound construction and in working
order prior to collection.
4.7 GPLAS Liability for any defect in
the equipment shall be limited to and not exceed:
a) Any manufacturers warranty on the equipment,
or if none
b) replacement or repair of the defective
equipment
